Our culture tells us that we are an unbeatable country at the gastronomic level, but it turns out that the trend says that we are increasingly ignorant about the quality of our native products. And the causes on which that theory is based are diverse and some very interesting.

Tourism, one of the most important sources of income for the country, is one of the most flagrant causes for us to stop valuing our most representative gastronomic products. The incessant and constant growth of tourism has developed an economy based on gastronomy towards the foreign public. That was a very good idea, but since it was implemented, absolutely not. The opportunity to project the country internationally without moving, thanks to the peaceful "invasion" of the "tourists", was brilliant for the evolution of our food, so that it internationalized in a global world, much faster and in a more optimized way. thanks to the demand that was pushing, after having tried our delicatessen during the holiday period. Well, we do not take advantage of that opportunity either, first, because we have not always offered them the best and in that way we have not made a difference, and second, we have not accompanied them back to their countries so that they continue to consume our products. Being competitive in the final prices of the products, because we do not use distributors, and with the component of the brand value that we provide from MadeinSpain.store, the potential market we have is incredible, and undoubtedly encouraging for Spanish brands that produce products of the highest quality, and that urgently need to be recognized by customers who put quality before quantity, and who eat healthy, is above of other less priority things in life.

But does our country have a future as a buyer market?
