We close the circle. With the final Gala we completed four fantastic gastronomic and networking sessions of Romero. As usual, in a very Barcelona, ​​modernist and very Mediterranean space: the Antigua Fábrica de la Damm.

The conclusion that we extract from the celebration of these 4 wonderful gastronomic events is that Romero has raised the bar. And I humbly believe that it is admirable, because we come from a blank year, and we have had very little time to organize the BMGE 2021, but we were able to do it, and successfully.

 

Data to keep growing

The success of these contests is valued, depending on how you look at it, but the numbers have supported us. 4 events, with 4 Michelin stars, 229 Attendees and nothing more and nothing less than 29 nationalities. We could not be more diverse, and it is that Barcelona has precisely that charm, something incomparable and incopiable.

And it is that the most important added value it offers Rosemary Premium Networking It is the power of international convocation and the facilitation of generating, among its community and in its environment, relationships and premium business.

How important it is also to do things well so that we can maintain the confidence of the first edition. Dam He gave us all the possible facilities to make us feel at home. A modernist space that breathes Barcelona and the Mediterranean on all four sides.

At the Gala we shared this latest gastronomic experience with 80 people, of which a high number of them were from our resident international community, showing us that our gastronomy is very fashionable and will continue to be so.

The first thing they could find was the new BMWIX, from the SUV category. The first fully electric of the Bavarian brand, which has 523CV and 630 km of autonomy, a marvel of technology. Our businesses, Barcelona Premium supported us throughout the bmge, and at the Gala he was also present with this world novelty.

Subsequently, we created a very Mediterranean and very gourmet experience, where Milliunverd, a brand that makes a Premium Virgin Olive Oil, presented its most precious jewel, eel Arbor sacris, harvest 2021, of the Farga variety, and with the particularity that it is oil from its 38 olive trees ...over a thousand years !!! And it is still delicious, with nuances that have made it the winner of several international awards.

And we could taste it alone or paired with a 100% Iberian ham from Enrique Tomás, and with a base of different types of breads from our partner Health BreadWhat a great product we have in Spain!

And to accompany it, what better than our Premium cava Peter Ventura, for the occasion, eel Tresor Rosé and Vintage 2015, better impossible.

Xavi Lahuerta: the sea and the Mediterranean land

In the aperitif we had to see the performance that he had prepared xavi lahuerta. It was a true secret, which he only shared with the people who would help him paint his gastronomic canvas. On that occasion he wanted to represent his interpretation of the fusion of the products of the land and the Mediterranean Sea, sustainable and Spanish products.

As he was "painting" people began to understand what he was doing, and by the time he finished it, the applause and praise came to him incessantly, Bravo Chef !! To be able to contemplate all the evolution as a personal brand of xavi lahuerta like ours Gastronomy Ambassador the last 4 years, it really excites me and makes me a privileged one to share with him all the gastronomic projects that we have created together… and those to come. Xavi believes in himself, and has become a gastronomic character, and there is nothing better than that to get where you want.

And special mention also to his choice of chefs this year, like the previous edition. Their symbiosis with them and the values ​​that they all transmitted, made them reach all the attendees, something fundamental to obtain absolute success.

Vítor Martín, Castilian gastronomy with Michelin Star

And we had the Main Course the event, the dinner he had prepared for us Víctor Martín, owner of Wheat Restaurant in Valladolid, with Michelin star since 2018.

With a loving humility and surgical precision in the presentation of his dishes, we enjoyed an excellent menu, which everyone liked for its quality of product, design and, above all, originality. The deer certainly captivated me. His choice as chef, was again the success of xavi lahuerta.

The reactions of the international attendees residing in Spain were very positive and many already wanted to go to Valladolid to enjoy their cuisine at their Trigo restaurant.

To pair your creations, we had the pleasure of doing it with Vinyes Domenech, some wines from the DO Montsant, that are made with such sensitivity and affection, that each wine is an experience as pleasant as a source of pure happiness and good karma. Teixar, Employets as reds and Vinyes Velles de Macabeu as white, were chosen. Excellent pairings.

 

Awards “La Guinda” BMGExperience 2021

As every year, we end our Gala with the awards "La Guinda", this year was created by Xavier Bartumeus, Catalan painter and sculptor, who made his interpretation of "the Guinda" in a painting on a lithograph, really beautiful.
