The new “Arbequina & Harissa” with an intense red color is special and unique spicy oil, it stands out for its fluidity, balance and freshness. For the production of Arbequina & Harissa Castillo de Canena has created its own, original and surprising recipe for the Harissa sauce (composed of dried red pepper, cayenne, garlic, coriander and caraway) which is infused with exceptional Arbequina extra virgin olive oil.

In this way, it presents in the foreground the toasted and pungent aromas of cayenne, followed by the other spices, where each of them are perfectly identified in the aftertaste: garlic, coriander and caraway. Added to this is a weighted and intensified combination with the fruity and green aromas of the fresh Arbequina olive juice.

Tasting note: It is a transparent, red / orange oil. Organoleptic profile that perfectly matches the nose and mouth, but with the surprising natural spice of cayenne in the latter. It presents in the foreground toasted and pungent aromas of cayenne, followed by spices, where each one of them is perfectly identified in the aftertaste, garlic, coriander and caraway, in a balanced and intensified combination with the fruit and green aromas of the juice of the fresh Arbequina olive. It also stands out for its fluidity and a bitter and spicy flavor in perfect harmony with the spiciness provided by this Tunisian blend.
