The choice of Vins El Cep to be part of our family in Made in Spain Gourmet, it was thanks to our sommelier y wine connoisseur, Zoltan nagy. That in 2019 we already ventured that the wines and cavas of this brand, led by its General Director, Maite esteve, were at a much higher level than most that were marketed in Spain.

We were able to verify it, both for its quality and its international potential, when it was one of the protagonists of our Barcelona's Mediterranean Gastronomy 2019 (www.bmge.es). A biannual event where we bring together people from our Romero community (more than 80% of international origin residing in Spain). There we realized that it would be one of our partners in Made in Spain Gourmet.

Wines the Cep commitment to the territory, to the uniqueness of each vineyard and to 100% own production, reaffirming that these are very important values ​​for them. I want to highlight the fact that they have become the first integral producers of the DO Cava. It is very important for all buyers that they know the stamp that certifies that the cava has been 100% vinified in its winery and its origin.

On the other hand, they continue to bet on the uniqueness of our territory, the diversity of vineyards in the Espiells area helps them make quality wines with their own style. Thanks to this, this year they have continued to expand their range of wines from a single vineyard with a Xarel lo Rojo, (the Clot del Roure Brisat).

Among the recognitions of this 2022, I want to highlight a special mention, that of Decanter as the best Biodynamic Cava of 2022 with the Claror of Qualified Place Can Prats. One of our bets for the international market due to the excellence of this product.

Today, with a broader perspective of the market, we have already convinced customers from more than 10 European countries who have discovered their cavas and wines thanks to our online gourmet shop. This feeling of growing together is very positive and helps us to commit ourselves even more to our country. We can say that Spain is the best country in the world in terms of gastronomy.
