The historic Brut de Brut de Recaredo is renamed Serral del Vell in a historical commitment of the Recaredo family to referencing the great terroirs that make up the Penedés. This wine is not only a tribute to the landscape, but also to the long aging process. The calcareous soils and the microclimate of the Serral del Vell estate give an unmistakable stamp to each of the vintages of this quality sparkling wine.

CORPINNAT is a Collective Brand of the European Union created with the aim of distinguishing the great sparkling wines made in the heart of the Penedès, from 100% organic grapes harvested by hand and vinified entirely on the property.

Vintage Brut Nature

Your commitment to terroir – almost their obsession – leads them to cultivate only their own vineyards with traditional varieties del Penedès, with a historic commitment to xarel·lo. They practice the biodynamic rainfed viticulture, a step beyond ecology.

They exclusively make vintage Brut Nature marked by the imprint of long aging. Its Corpinnat sparkling wines have forged a unique style defined by elegance and subtlety.

Preparation: Made from grapes from the Serral del Vell de Recaredo estate, located on a small plateau on the Coster del Río Bitlles and with the presence in the soil of abundant calcareous nodules.
Organic and biodynamic agriculture. Vineyards grown without herbicides or insecticides of chemical origin, only with fertilizers of natural origin. We apply infusions made from plants to control the presence of fungi and strengthen the strains in a natural way.
Manual harvest to guarantee the excellent health of a grape destined for long aging.
Vinification, production and aging are carried out entirely at Recaredo in a commitment to guarantee rigor in the origin of the grape and maximum transparency in the production processes. In order to provide structure and elegance, the Xarel lo must has been fermented in oak barrels.
El disgorgement (The art of expelling the lees from the second fermentation in the bottle) is carried out manually at the fresh and natural temperature of the cellars in an exercise of artisan professionalism and respect for the environment.

From the vineyard, through the winery and the cellar, all the processes in Recaredo are audited and certified by the independent organization Bureau Veritas; reaffirming our unique vocation in the world as winegrowers and processors.

Recaredo sparkling wines are essentially gastronomic, with a style defined by elegance and subtlety that has captivated the most demanding food and wine critics: from The New York Times, through the prestigious La Revue by Vin de France, the Le Monde newspaper or the influential American magazines Forbes or Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate.

The Recaredo family works only with their own dry-land vineyards with a strong commitment to preserving biodiversity and balance in the ecosystem that has led them to be pioneers in biodynamic certification, a step beyond ecology.
