Description

Of each pig weighing more than 160 kg. Two fresh units of approximately 625 grams each are obtained.

Once the curing and maturation process is completed, the unit weight ranges between 350 and 400 grams.

It has a high iron content that is manifested in its strong purple color and its energy value is such that, when consumed, with just a few slices you can notice the sensation of energy recovery.

Its organoleptic characteristics are unique, and for tasting, we recommend removing the vacuum bag, leaving the piece in a cool, dry place for 24 hours and slicing it with a thickness of around 1,7 mm. When cutting the pig, the Presa is located between the upper part of the shoulder and the loin.

Navarretinto is probably the best Iberian pig farm in Spain, So clear. It began its journey in 2000 with a project that integrates, within the Extremadura pasture, the most advanced German technology.
