100% Iberian Mamellado-Lampiño breed
A unique, almost extinct breed selected by the founder as the best for the production of acorn-fed Iberian ham due to its ability to convert acorns and infiltrate fat. A breed that is characterized by small, hairless (hairless) pigs, dark in color, thin legs, and that have mamellas (fleshy appendage on the front of the neck).

They are 100% Iberian Acorn-fed Hams fully certified by certifying entities accredited according to the Iberian Standard included in Royal Decree 4/2014.

Date of Expiry: It has no expiration date, but it is recommended to consume not exceeding 6 months from the moment of sale.
Conditions of conservation: Dry and cool place (between 10º and 20º) and preferably hanging. Once cut, it must be consumed immediately or wrapped in wax paper or transparent film to avoid contact with air. In any case, it is advisable to cut only what is going to be consumed. It has an approximate consumption period of 3 months once the cut occurs, but it is advisable to consume it within 30 days.

This is how an exclusive and homogeneous quality is achieved in all the products that share the same Designation of Origin. When it comes to Iberian shoulders and hams, which come from animals that comply with the regulations regarding Iberian pigs, there are only 4 in all the world.
