Description
Next to the winery, on the other bank of the river, in the Pesquera mountains, we find its vineyards planted on more limestone soils. The priority at Tr3smano is to produce only high quality grapes, with optimum ripeness. For this reason, it is essential to apply control over all the processes, from winter pruning to the decision on when to harvest. Only in this way can the quality levels necessary to obtain unique wines be achieved.
A very round and balanced Ribera del Duero. With the freshness of the fruit and a light touch of barrel aging. From vineyards planted by Fernando Remírez de Ganuza, in high density and supported vase system. Made 100% with Tinta del País, and the experience of the creation process of Tr3smano.

Geology and Soil:
For more than 20 years, Fernando has been planting Tinta del País vineyards in the Olmedillo area.
Applying a planting system in the form of a supported glass. And with a high density of vines per hectare. In these vineyards located at an altitude of about 850 m on poor soils, low yields and fruit of surprising quality are achieved.
Pairing
At Made in Spain we recommend it with Iberian ham and cured goat and sheep cheeses. Also with vegan cheeses from Veggie Karma.
With main dishes with lamb, game or red meat. With dark chocolate desserts.
Where time does not exist and only good work matters
Tr3smano is nourished by large vineyards located in three of the best wine-growing sub-areas of the Ribera del Duero located on the Golden Mile, in Valladolid. Between them they have a total area of about 55 hectares of vineyards, although all of them have very low production.
All the vineyards are planted exclusively with Tempranillo or Tinta del país – Fine ink, most of them cultivated in a goblet formation system and with a planting density between 3,000 and 4,000 feet per hectare.
The works are carried out completely manually with the utmost care possible to respect the quality of the grapes.
The winery is surrounded by a first 50-year-old vineyard: La Viña del Lagar. This, together with the Rábano, is cultivated on very poor loamy-sandy soils.
Concept and architecture
The project strategy was based on taking advantage of the unevenness of the plot to partially bury the building: to the north, the five grape harvest doors connect the field with the production room and act as points for pouring grapes by gravity, as was done in the past. .
The use of gravity favors both the quality of the final product and energy optimization.
Light is the other essential element in this project: light to a greater or lesser extent on mass and space. Thus, in the maturation room where the barrels sleep, buried in silence, the entry of light is minimal and indirect, as opposed to the production room, bathed in light.
In this architecture, the chosen material, concrete — or cement — in situ, represents the total material, which provides continuity to the earth from the earth, acting at the same time as a thermal insulator, which allows reducing the use of air conditioning and Forced ventilation.
On the other hand, solar incidence is controlled by a system of horizontal aluminum sheets along the curtain wall.
In this way, the ergonomics of the winery with its two elongated faces presents functional advantages with good light conditions, natural ventilation, maximum thermal insulation — in production, aging and maturation rooms — and connection between its interior spaces.
Essence of its origin
And all this while building a winery capable of combining the new techniques of modern oenology with the greatest respect for tradition. The dream was taking shape thanks to the conversations that, around a good glass of wine, the protagonists of this beautiful project were sharing.
