TM is the icon and top wine of Tr3mano. It is only made in some vintages. From a single Tempranillo vineyard almost 100 years old. Exceptional quality, humbly, the best that can be produced in the Ribera del Duero. Production limited to 6.050 bottles. An irresistible pleasure. It is a wine as soft as it is forceful, and it goes with absolutely everything.

Description

Next to the winery, on the other bank of the river, in the Pesquera mountains, we find its vineyards planted on more limestone soils. The priority at Tr3smano is to produce only high quality grapes, with optimum ripeness. For this reason, it is essential to apply control over all the processes, from winter pruning to the decision on when to harvest. Only in this way can the quality levels necessary to obtain unique wines be achieved.

Only in special circumstances can an olive tree live more than a thousand years. Overcome wars, cataclysms, crises. Only in special circumstances are we capable of producing this wine that arises from the selection within the selection.

In exceptional years, they vinify the grapes from some of their vineyards separately.

Their wine is aged in a special series of barrels that are tasted month by month by Fernando and Pedro. In the end, only a few of these barrels retain enough quality to be assembled and the wine bottled.

The average permanence of the wine in barrels exceeds 24 months. They cannot guarantee the number of bottles each year, nor in which vintages the wine will finally see the light.

Instead, they guarantee that each one of these bottles is a great work of art that is worth enjoying.

Tasting note:

With a very high color intensity in purple tones. On the nose, great concentration and aromatic complexity stand out with notes of very ripe red fruit and subtle notes of toasted, smoked, tea and coffee. On the palate it is structured, complex, silky and with a long persistence. It is a wine for after-dinner, allowing it to evolve patiently in its glass. It is recommended to open and oxygenate 15 minutes before consumption.

20 months of aging in new French oak barrels. Only 24 barrels of exceptional quality were selected by Fernando Remírez and Pedro Aibar for bottling. Not all vintages available.

TR3SHAND is the quality wine project of the prestigious and reputed winemakers Fernando Remírez de Ganuza (Rioja) and Pedro Aybar (Aragon) in the Ribera del Duero taking advantage of some very old Tempranillo vineyards owned by the former and the enthusiasm of both to make a great wine in the Ribera del Duero.

Fernando Remirez de Ganuza, as you well know, is today one of the most important winemakers in Spain, Synonymous with quality and meticulousness in the production. For him, the exceptional quality of a wine is only achieved through a strict selection of grapes and attention to every detail. He earned 100 Robert Parker points for his 2004 Grand Reserve.

Pedro Aibar: He has his winery in Campo de Borja (Pagos del Moncayo), since 1986 he promoted the DO Somontano at the head of Viñas del Vero and founded the Blecua boutique winery. In recent years he was in charge of the direction in "El Coto" Barón de Ley group.
La Europea, from the Ruíz family, a leading company in the importation and distribution of wines in Mexico, completes the trio of the project.
